Cheesy Buffalo chicken ring

2 cans crescent dinner rolls or make your own soft croissants rolls (makes 24 rolls, you will only need 16. You can bake the remaining 8 as plain croissants rolls or use filling of your choice (like I did - see picture below) for stuffed croissants rolls. roll the dough from the wide end to the narrow one.

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.

1 cup cheddar cheese.

4 oz. Cream cheese

¼ cup hot sauce

2 ½ cups cooked and shredded chicken breast.

For the glaze:

1 beaten egg mixed with 1 tablespoon of milk.


  1. Preheat the oven to 190°c or 375°f.

  2. Cover baking pan with parchment paper and place a small bowl in the center of the pan.

  3. On a floured surface roll ⅓ of the dough into a large round shape. Cut to 8 equal pieces. Repeat with another ⅓ to get 16 triangles (use the last ⅓ as you wish).

  4. If using the store bought dough, separate into 16 triangles.

  5. Arrange the 16 triangles around the bowl, overlapping, wide end toward the bowl.

  6. Mix the shredded chicken with the hot sauce and the cream cheese.

  7. Add the cheddar and the mozzarella cheese and mix well.

  8. Spread the chicken mixture around the bowl.

  9. Remove the bowl and place the edges of the triangles over the filling and tuck them under the dough all around until all the filling enclosed.

  10. Brush the ring with the egg.

  11. Bake for 15-20 min until golden brown.

  12. Serve warm with your choice of dressing in a small bowl in the center of the ring.
